A Further Exploration to Fatigue Indicator in PVT of China Air Traffic Controllers

Current study is aiming to find a more suitable behavioral fatigue index for Air Traffic Controllers(ATC) using PVT test and self-assessment questionnaires as tools, gives these tests before after ATC duty. Through questionnaire, this finding indicates hit rate response time (the first 20% trials) of can be potential since we found 2min air traffic controller(ATC) duty significantly longer than duty, together with the lower 8 items in Stanford Sleepiness Scale(SSS) Visual Analogy Scale(VAS) also show significant difference self assessment on fatigue. ATCs think themselves are much duty.Besides, regional control area effect those terminal area, indicating different work load two working areas. Those at night especially midnight daytime showed by time. In sum, (first 2min) effective indexes ATC.
